Retail butcher — Fauquier County

Join our team: we are hiring a retail butcher in Fauquier County, Virginia. The job is in a meat processing plant. The role involves: • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Pay around $230 per day, based on your experience.
