Immediate opening: we are hiring a steam press operator in Stevens County, Kansas. On a typical shift you will give each garment a final press before packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
