Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Woodruff County, Arkansas. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Your main tasks: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
