Dough maker — Amador County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dough maker in Amador County, California. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. Your main tasks: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Part-time with flexible hours.
