Tig welder • Brown County, Indiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Brown County, Indiana. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. On a typical shift you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools and PPE At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
