Vacancy available: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Tate County, Mississippi. The job is at a busy press shop. Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards The role involves: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
