Cnc production machinist wanted in Garfield County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Garfield County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls The role involves: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear 2+ years on the tools preferred.
