Immediate opening: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Henry County, Alabama. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. Day-to-day duties: • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush Requirements: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
