Industrial sewing operator — Missaukee County

Join our team: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Missaukee County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy garment factory. On a typical shift you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
