Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Juneau County, Wisconsin. You will be based on a structural steel site. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot On the job you will handle: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
