Fabricator-welder • Otsego County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Otsego County, Michigan. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. Your main tasks: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
