Industrial sewing operator wanted in Genesee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Genesee County, New York. Your main tasks: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
