Vacancy available: finishing presser (Missouri)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing presser in Audrain County, Missouri. You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Day-to-day duties: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
