Urgent requirement: we are hiring a carpenter in Steuben County, New York. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent The role involves read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles.
