Glazing installer — Fayette County

Now hiring: we are hiring a glazing installer in Fayette County, Alabama. You will be based at a glass and aluminium factory. What we are looking for: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Day-to-day duties: • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
