Great opportunity: we are hiring a stone mason in Ionia County, Michigan. You will work in a natural stone fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin What we are looking for: • Own hand tools an advantage • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists 2+ years on the tools preferred.
