Foundry labourer • Zurmi, Zamfara State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Zurmi, Zamfara State. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
