Great opportunity: gas pipe fitter (Mississippi)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Humphreys County, Mississippi. You will be based in a gas distribution network. The role involves: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points What we are looking for: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
