Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Prince William County, Virginia. The job is on a window-and-door production line. On the job you will handle: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees You should have: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Full-time, day shift.
