Now hiring: restoration bricklayer (Missouri)

Join our team: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Howard County, Missouri. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Day-to-day duties: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
