Join our team: we are hiring a confectioner in Cherokee County, South Carolina. On a typical shift you will proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; score the top of loaves before baking; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards. Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens 5+ years on the tools preferred.
