Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Montrose County

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Montrose County, Colorado. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Your main tasks: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift 1+ years on the tools preferred.
