Immediate opening: AC mechanic (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Grundy County, Illinois. The job is at a refrigeration and cooling firm. The role involves charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges; insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving; commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow; mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them. You should have: • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
