Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Chaves County, New Mexico. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently On the job you will handle: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
