Immediate opening: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Jasper County, Iowa. The job is on a busy domestic building site. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Day to day you will tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
