Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe operator in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges You will monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers.
