Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Burnet County, Texas. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Your main tasks: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
