Automotive paint technician — City of Kingston upon Hull

Great opportunity: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in City of Kingston upon Hull, England. You will be based at a busy body shop. On a typical shift you will sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs. You should have: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Able to read and match factory paint codes Six days a week, one day off.
