Production welder wanted in Nelson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production welder in Nelson County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Willing to work shifts and overtime Your main tasks: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
