Join our team: we are hiring a VMC operator in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T The role involves load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
