Great opportunity: maintenance painter (Wisconsin)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a maintenance painter in La Crosse County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a busy decorating firm. The role involves apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller. Requirements: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site 3+ years on the tools preferred. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
