We are recruiting: we are hiring a PVC profile cutter in Cumberland County, Illinois. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. On the job you will handle: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame You should have: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Rotating shifts.
