Wood machinist • Montgomery County, Georgia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wood machinist in Montgomery County, Georgia. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. On the job you will handle: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
