Sheet metal press operator — City of Staunton

The role involves: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation You should have: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Full-time with occasional weekends.
