Rebar worker • Carter County, Tennessee

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar worker in Carter County, Tennessee. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
