Groundsman wanted in Dale County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundsman in Dale County, Alabama. You will work in a botanical garden. Your main tasks: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
