Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar worker in Tuolumne County, California. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
