Vacancy available: lift mechanic (Katsina State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Katsina, Katsina State. You will be based at a busy lift company. The role involves replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. Ideal candidate: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Full-time, day shift.
