Tig welder • Ravalli County, Montana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Ravalli County, Montana. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
