Now hiring: we are hiring a meat cutter in Polk County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Season and marinate meat on request What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers 6+ years on the tools preferred.
