We are recruiting: we are hiring a pressman in Walker County, Georgia. The job is at a garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets 5+ years on the tools preferred.
