Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Loving County, Texas. Day to day you will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry. You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills 5+ years on the tools preferred.
