Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in Barton County

Join our team: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Barton County, Kansas. You will be based at a residential building site. You will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
