Cake decorator wanted in Essex County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cake decorator in Essex County, New York. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics On the job you will handle: • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight Full-time with occasional weekends.
