Domestic gas engineer — Mid Ulster

Great opportunity: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion 5+ years on the tools preferred.
