Shuttering charge hand — Newport

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Newport, Wales. The role involves apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Pay around £1,850 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
