Great opportunity: sample machinist (Louisiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sample machinist in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens You will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
