Aluminium fitter • Lincoln County, Kansas

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Lincoln County, Kansas. You will be based at an ACP cladding fabricator. Day-to-day duties: • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing • Load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish • Anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners What we are looking for: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections Overtime paid at a premium rate.
