Immediate opening: shuttering and concrete hand (New Mexico)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Sandoval County, New Mexico. The role involves erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Rotating shifts.
