Turning centre operator — Renfrewshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Renfrewshire, Scotland. You will work in a job-work machining unit. You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls You will deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; write and edit G-code programs at the control; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish.
